CASE STUDIES

NEXT TO ALMOST NORMAL

OBJECTIVE:

Connecting Broadway, Spanish and Argentine productions that are running at the same time.

HOW WE ACHIEVED THIS:

The U.S. Embassy in Argentina hosted a launch event for the play, which was attended by Brian Yorkey and the original cast of "Next to Normal" (Alice Ripley, Jennifer Damiano, J. Robert Spencer, Louis Hobson and Kat Ramsburg).

The Argentine cast was invited by Brian Yorkey and Tom Kitt to perform alongside the Broadway cast at Lincoln Center.

The Broadway cast flew to Buenos Aires two years in a row to present "Next to Casi Normales", a bilingual concert series.

The stars Fernando Dente and Manuela del Campo were invited by Alice Ripley and Jennifer Damiano to sing with them at different venues in New York, including 54 Below.

Alice Ripley, Fernando Dente, Manuela del Campo, Jenn Damiano and Laura Conforte performed a concert of "Next to Casi Normales" at the Argentine Consulate.

KINKY BOOTS

OBJECTIVES:

Announce the launch of the show in Argentina in January 2020.

Train the star of the show, Martín Bossi, with the best teachers on Broadway.

HOW WE ACHIEVE THIS:

We did a photo shoot at the stage door of the Hirschfield Theater with Martin and a drag queen.

We filmed the show's director, Ricky Pashkus, walking through Times Square wearing the red Kinky Boots.

The production and creative team met Cindy Lauper at Sardi's before heading to see the show.

The stars Fernando Dente and Manuela del Campo were invited by Alice Ripley and Jennifer Damiano to sing with them at different venues in New York, including 54 Below.

Martin took classes in vocal technique, vocal performance and heel dancing with GO Broadway.

EVITA AT CITY CENTER

OBJECTIVES:

To announce to the Argentine community in New York that the play will be presented in the city.

Show images of the director's research during his trip to Argentina.

HOW WE ACHIEVE THIS.

We organized a one-night-only event at the Argentine Consulate where we presented the documentary and accompanied it with performances by the cast.

We offered a first look at the production to the Argentine community in New York and extended an invitation to purchase tickets for the production at City Center.
