Do I need previous experience?
Our philosophy is to meet students where they are and work individually on the strengths and weaknesses of each interpreter. We do not require previous experience. Most of our classes are divided into levels, except for master classes.
Do I have to speak perfect English?
We do not administer any English exams, but we recommend that you speak basic English, as we do not provide translators, but our teachers make sure to speak slowly and use simple language when/if necessary so that you can get the most out of each class.
Can I take classes with GO Broadway outside of the published programs?
Yes, customized packages of lessons and classes are available upon request throughout the year. Please email us at: info@go-broadway.com.
How does transportation work?
Each student will receive a Metrocard for transportation within Manhattan.
* Airport transfers are included for designated flights only.
* Flights are not included in the cost of the program.
Do I need a Visa to enter the United States?
A tourist visa (B2) is required to enter the U.S. from most countries. If you are a member of the European Union, you need to obtain an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) to enter the United States. GO Broadway does not issue visas, but we can guide you through the necessary steps to obtain one.
Do you offer scholarships?
We offer scholarships for our New York Professional and New York Teen programs through auditions held in various Latin American cities and/or online. We offer discounts to groups of more than 4 participants.
Do I have to audition to apply?
No, our programs are intended for anyone who wants to participate and is willing to learn and take classes in New York.
Do I have to book health insurance?
GO Broadway provides health insurance for students in the NEW YORK TEEN program. All other students are required to book health insurance through a provider or credit card company. If you have a medical condition, please inform us at the time of registration. If you take medication, please bring enough for the duration of the trip.
